Environmental Responsibility and Climate Action

We are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our operations and developing solutions that support a sustainable future.

Reducing Our Carbon Footprint
We participate in the Finnish Chamber of Commerce’s Climate Program and actively monitor our carbon footprint. We continuously take action to reduce it, such as investing in energy-efficient solutions, using renewable energy, and optimizing logistics to reduce transport emissions.

Material Efficiency and Circular Economy
We recycle over 80% of plastic sheet production side streams and prefer recycled materials whenever possible. We also optimize our production processes to minimize material waste and develop new solutions that support resource-efficient production.

Sustainable Products and Solutions
We strive to offer our customers increasingly responsible options. We develop more sustainable manufacturing methods, use environmentally friendly materials, and ensure our products are durable and long-lasting.

Economic and Social Responsibility

Responsible business is the foundation for sustainable growth. We aim to ensure our operations are ethical, long-term, and honest.

Employee Wellbeing and Safety
We monitor the wellbeing of our staff and invest in improving working conditions. Occupational safety and an equal work community are top priorities for us.

Supporting the Community
We support local sports, talent development, and business. We participate in several regional responsibility projects and want to help build a more sustainable society.

Concrete Actions to Promote Responsibility

• We are part of the Finnish Chamber of Commerce’s Climate Program and calculate our carbon footprint.
• We invest in energy efficiency: we utilize heat recovery and invest in low-emission solutions. One of our facilities has stopped using district heating and is now heated with waste heat and air-source heat pumps.
• We recycle over 80% of production plastic side streams and prioritize recycled materials. These side streams are used as raw materials for new sheet products, and all production waste is recycled where possible.
• We are developing a responsible procurement chain – over 65% of our purchases are from Finland and 99% from within the EU.
• We actively monitor employee wellbeing and develop working conditions.
